Tutorial No.5 – How to Make a Magnetic Bookmark

I kept searching for strong magnetic bookmark that is able to hold at least 15 pieces of 80gsm paper. And yesterday, I found this in a stationery shop – a magnetic address notebook.

At the moment I was inspired. Why can’t I make a Magnetic Bookmark by myself! Have a look at this magnetic notebook and it has already hold 12 pieces of paper tightly together!

What you need:

  1. Purchase the magnetic address notebook 🙂
  2. A piece of pretty fabric

  3. Super glue
  4. Pen knife

How?

  1. Separate the 2 magnetic covers from the address book;
  2. Cut 2 pieces of magnet from the cover. Size depends on how big you want your bookmark to be. IMPORTANT – you must cut one piece from the front cover (positive) and another piece from the back cover (negative).
