I kept searching for strong magnetic bookmark that is able to hold at least 15 pieces of 80gsm paper. And yesterday, I found this in a stationery shop – a magnetic address notebook.
At the moment I was inspired. Why can’t I make a Magnetic Bookmark by myself! Have a look at this magnetic notebook and it has already hold 12 pieces of paper tightly together!
What you need:
- Separate the 2 magnetic covers from the address book;
- Cut 2 pieces of magnet from the cover. Size depends on how big you want your bookmark to be. IMPORTANT – you must cut one piece from the front cover (positive) and another piece from the back cover (negative).
- Stick them on the fabric with super glue. Remember to leave a 1cm gap in between.
- Trim the fabric.
- It’s almost done! Let’s test it. 10 pieces of 80gsm paper~
18 pieces of 80gsm paper~ Yeah! 😀
- Add some decoration~
Here is another Magnetic Bookmark I made.
